So we got quite the surprise yesterday. We were told that Cinnamon and Nutmeg were both males, I even double checked and thought they were both male. NOPE, Nutmeg is female and just gave birth to 6 adorable little runts. Sadly two died shortly after being born but the remaining four are super active and very curious. I saw them climbing the cage last night!!! They were born earliest Sunday evening while I was at work!!!

Anyhow...I have picked out names. They're all spice blends or a singular spice lol:

Chai

Masala

Ancho

Chipotle

That pic on the right top. I was helping mommy out a bit. She gets overwelmed since the cage is small (only one the babes can't escape from xD ) and she begins running around a little frantically. I put my hand in, the babies run to me, climb up into my palm and sleep. It's so precious. Lol it's also hillarious that all four can fit in my hand. When they try to suckle from my palm I push them back over to mom. She gets a short rest and the babies are getting used to humans.
